Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Remontorium.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not access or use the website. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, and your continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of any changes.

Use of Service

You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe upon the rights of others. You must be at least 18 years of age to make a purchase. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any account information and for all activities that occur under your account.

Products & Pricing

All timepieces listed on Remontorium.com are pre-owned vintage items. While we make every effort to accurately describe and photograph each piece, minor variations may exist. Prices are listed in US Dollars and are subject to change without notice. Items marked "Price on Request" require direct inquiry for pricing information.

Payment Terms

We offer multiple payment methods based on the purchase price:

• Credit/Debit Card: Available for purchases under $5,000. Processed securely through Stripe.

• Wire Transfer: Required for purchases of $5,000 or more. Wire instructions are provided upon request, and a 72-hour reservation period applies from the time instructions are issued.

All sales are final upon successful payment. Items are reserved during the payment processing period and are released if payment is not received within the applicable timeframe.

Returns & Exchanges

Due to the unique nature of vintage timepieces, all sales are final. If an item is materially misrepresented in its listing, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt. We will work with you to find a satisfactory resolution on a case-by-case basis. Return shipping, if authorized, must be fully insured and sent via tracked carrier.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, photographs, logos, and design — is the property of Remontorium and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our prior written consent. Brand names referenced on this site are registered trademarks of their respective owners and are used solely for identification purposes.

Limitation of Liability

Remontorium shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the website or purchase of any items. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific item in question. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the fitness of any timepiece for a particular purpose.

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these terms, your use of the website, or any purchase made through Remontorium shall be resolved exclusively through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules then in effect. The arbitration shall be conducted in Harris County, Texas, or remotely where permitted by AAA rules. The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding, and judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.

To the extent any claim cannot be arbitrated as a matter of law, the exclusive venue for such claim shall be the state or federal courts located in Harris County, Texas, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts. You and Remontorium each waive any right to a jury trial and to participate in any class action or class-wide arbitration.
